Reflections to Encourage Debate
It was in April 2022 that I began writing a weekly blog, initially sent to just my colleagues at work, to stimulate debate on the big issues facing the world. I wanted to raise awareness of the seriousness of climate change and the urgency of acting on it, and equip colleagues with information that they could use to have those conversations with their clients, families and friends.
The topics quickly broadened to cover nature loss, water scarcity, societal inequalities, demographics and much more. And as I wrote, certain themes emerged time and again: purpose and responsibility (in both cases of individuals and of organisations), and collaboration and leadership (sometimes good examples, sometimes the lack of and need). In July 2022 I began publishing some of them on LinkedIn to reach a wider audience.
Here you can find those blogs, and eventually all of the more than 150 that I have written. Search by keyword, use the tags below, or just browse as you wish. Sign up to my newsletters on the contact page if you wish to be alerted to the ones I write in future, and as older ones are uploaded.
I hope that you will find them insightful and a basis for discussion with others. And that they might encourage you to act with greater purpose for the future of our world, in whatever ways you can.
